ORIGINS launch concert...December 16, 2007, 6PM The Walter Hoving Home, Garrison, NY

True Witness, a Christian band from New York’s Hudson Valley, released their debut album, ORIGINS, at The Walter Hoving Home in Garrison, NY on December 16, 2007 at 6PM in the Chapel. All profits from the CD, ORIGINS, are being donated to The Walter Hoving Home in Garrison, NY.  

ORIGINS is music about faith, hope and love. It is about new beginnings, and forgiveness. ORIGINS is twelve songs that capture the heart of man, with the vision of Christ. The Walter Hoving Home is about rebuilding shattered lives. It is about new beginnings. Thus the two have come together.

True Witness originated in 2002. The band is a blend of acoustic and electric rock. True Witness began when Tim Adams and Chris Bowen decided to put their music and lyrics together for a greater purpose. Chris wrote the lyrics, and Tim began to compose the musical arrangements. Tom Bowen, who also composes the music, added the various instrumentations to the arrangements, and tweaked each songs rhythms and styles. Dan Adams added his creative edge on bass, and the music took off. Tim plays electric and acoustic guitar, and sings lead vocals. Dan plays bass guitar, and sings background vocals. Tom plays lead electric and acoustic guitar, cello, banjo, and sings background vocals. In addition to writing the lyrics, Chris plays clarinet, and percussion with the band. Heather Adams is on keyboard, and Kim Adams plays piano and flute.

True Witness began its journey in Florida, playing for youth groups and churches, as well as many other venues. In 2003 the band made a big change, moving to Hudson Valley region of New York, and began taking on the challenges of the New England, Northeast area.
